 Homemade caramel:
This recipe was my Mom's. She called it Christmas Caramel because she would make it every year at Christmas time. Back then she would take the tray of hot caramel and place it in the snow to cool, of course we don't do that now but it was cool to watch.
She passed the recipe down to me and I've been making it ever since.
This caramel is soft sweet  buttery goodness!
